As a platform aiming towards decentralizing the music industry, on that road, we have to fulfill many goals we’ve placed for ourselves. As one of them, providing services to artists has been the center of that focus.
To combine all services onto our platform is no easy task, but we had to start somewhere, so we did it by introducing The Club. It provides you with the distribution of your songs to other platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and others.
Since this doesn’t go against our strategy, and it’s not our main focus, we also made it free!
There are no limitations on the number of songs uploaded in any given time period, so you are free to distribute all of the songs you want.
We will not charge anything, you get to keep 100% of your royalties. It is really a free distribution, that won’t ever ask for additional payments.
All you need to do is upload your songs to Freecords, here you can access it easily: https://www.freecords.com/join-the-club
Once you’ve submitted the song, it will be distributed immediately, however, bear in mind that there is a review in place for all of the songs coming into those platforms, so the entire process takes between 4-5 days. You can also set a release date if you want the song released at least one month from now, otherwise, it will be distributed ASAP.
You can also distribute an EP or an album, just upload all the songs in the following format: Song name - Album (EP) name, but don’t worry, if you forget to do it, we will have your dedicated account manager contact you.
Oh, that’s also included with the distribution. Our personal manager will fulfill your requests or answer any questions you might have.
Finally, we provide you with the links to promote your songs, just like you would get with other platforms, just instead of going and doing it on your own, we will do it for you and send it over as soon as the songs are ready. You can also adjust any elements on this page, just talk to your manager and we will be delighted to oblige to the requests.
In regards to your payouts, there is a minimum hold of 50 EUR to avoid unnecessary bank costs. At the end of each month, assuming any hold periods by the streaming companies, you will get a report on your earnings, broken down to the name of the platform, number of plays, and revenue per play.
Payouts are made via bank account. Once you reach the 50 EUR hold, you can withdraw funds directly.
